My lawyer said I shouldn’t have told them I wanted to take my business elsewhere. I read other reviews and there crooks I see plenty people have complained about them giving them a hard time trying to withdraw there money from Moomoo! I sent mail copies with my full name? I sent drivers license? I sent birth certificate? I sent social security card? An I sent 6 different credit and debit cards with my full name and address info that match there information that’s on there app? My full name is Allen J Smiley II? When I created my account I just put ALLEN J SMILEY when I created the account.but I’m the 2nd. So I gave them everything that shows I’m Allen J Smiley II? There really trying to rob me of my money. They sent me another email saying there still reviewing my account? I counted I have 69 emails from Moomoo all of them are related to me trying to withdraw and them fighting not to let me withdraw! I also maintained the funds throughout the 3-month maintenance period, fully complying with the campaign requirements. Based on the promotion, I was expecting to receive the promised RM500 free share reward.\nHowever, after fulfilling all the conditions, I discovered that the reward also needed to be claimed during the campaign period. This requirement was not made sufficiently clear to me when I signed up. As a result, despite meeting the deposit and maintenance requirements, I was denied the reward.\nI contacted customer service and submitted an appeal, hoping they would review my case fairly. Unfortunately, my appeal was rejected without any flexibility or goodwill consideration. The response was simply “no,” which left me feeling that customer satisfaction was not a priority.\nI feel misled by this experience. Promotions should be transparent, and important requirements should be clearly communicated so customers can make informed decisions. Had I known that an additional claim action was required within a specific period, I would have completed it.\nThis experience has significantly damaged my trust in Moomoo. But takes you n+2 days to divest, wait for money to be available, then another 2 days to convert back to local currency at an unfavourable rate. What's the catch? Low cost brokers like Moomoo sent orders to market makers in the US and got rebates (commissions) from them. I traded US stocks with them but got worse fills than quotes in the centralized exchanges (NYSE & Nasdaq) and took much longer because it were directed to the market makers. Their customers will end up incurring higher costs than traditional brokers especially if the transaction size is big. They also earned handsome money from the currency conversions and earned interest on your idle funds. They have no customer service or physical face if you have problems or dispute trading with them. Everything is done electronically.
