Cookie policy

SmartChecker uses a small number of cookies to keep you logged in and to keep the site working. We run no advertising or tracking cookies.

What we set

  • __Host-sc_access and __Host-sc_refresh — keep you logged in. Set only after you sign in, sent over HTTPS to this site alone, and unreadable to scripts on the page. They are removed when you log out.
  • Your language choice (EN or 中文) and small display preferences are stored in your browser, not sent to us.

What we do not set

No advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies. Our banners are plain images and links served from this site; they do not follow you elsewhere.

If you sign in with Google

Google sets its own cookies on its sign-in pages under its own policy. We receive only your account identifier and email address from that sign-in.

Managing cookies

You can delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. If you block ours, you can still read the site, but you will not be able to stay logged in or publish a review.
