Review guidelines

A review on SmartChecker must describe your own experience with the company, in your own words. We publish what you write, and no company can pay to change or remove it.

Who can write a review

You need a SmartChecker account. You may write one review per company. If your experience changes, edit or replace your review rather than adding another.

Write only about a company you dealt with yourself. Do not review your own employer, a company you are paid to promote, or a competitor.

What to write

Describe the service you received: opening an account, deposits and withdrawals, the platform or app, fees you were charged, and how support handled your questions. Give dates and specifics where you can. The more concrete the account, the more useful it is to the next reader.

  • Your own experience, in your own words.
  • Between 20 and 3,000 characters.
  • A rating from 1 to 5 that matches what you describe.

What we do not publish

  • Accusations of crime. Words such as scam, fraud, thief, stole, cheat or penipuan are blocked: describe what happened instead, and we will publish that.
  • Other people's names, phone numbers, account numbers or identity documents.
  • Content that is copied from somewhere else, advertising, referral links, or an offer to recover losses for a fee.
  • Reviews written for payment, a gift or any other reward, whether by the company or anyone else.

We publish reviews as written. We do not edit them for tone, and we do not remove a review because the company asks us to.

If a company disagrees with a review

A company may write to support@smartchecker.my to answer a review or to tell us a review breaks these rules. We check it against the rules above. If it does break them, we remove it and say so. If it does not, it stays, and the company may publish a reply that we show beside it.

Reviews carried over from other sites

Some pages show reviews first published elsewhere, such as Google. Those cards carry the source name, their star rating is as the source published it, and they are never presented as written for SmartChecker.
